Jesus always found the best parties. Wherever something cool was happening, Jesus would inevitably show up. He went to weddings and loved a great meal. And wherever he went, a crowd quickly gathered. We strive to be the kind of place Jesus would hang out. Where ordinary people share in life together - the joys and the challenges. Expect a warm greeting when you exit your car or walk through the door. Encounter people who are eager to help you find out where childcare is located or where to find the restroom. Grab some fresh, movie-theater-style popcorn and a comfortable chair.
Come as you are, but don't plan to stay that way. We strive for worship to be participatory - you're a part of the action, not just a spectator in the crowd. We talk with one another and share our lives in our weekly "icebreaker," a time to meet new people and catch up with someone you may not have seen in awhile. You'll hear popular Christian music, as well as some really cool "mainstream" songs that fit the conversation of the day. Our messages are dialogical (we talk to each other during the sermon), use of technology is encouraged and you'll be invited to go deeper into understanding Scripture and applying it to your life. If you're looking for an easy, feel-good, no obligation experience with softball theology, you won't find that here. Because we think that our faith demands the very best of what we have to give, and that following Jesus is both a contact sport and an investment of our whole lives. Our aim is for you to see how your story is already caught up in God's story, then to dig in and live the gospel!
